This website

This site sets no cookies, loads no analytics or advertising scripts, and does not track visitors. Nothing you do while reading it is recorded by us.

Two fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google when the page loads. We send Google nothing about you beyond what any such request contains.

Registration

Registration does not happen on this site. Each school’s registration form is a Microsoft Form, hosted by Microsoft and administered by GEMS Modern Academy, GEMS World Academy, Dubai American Academy. Anything you enter there is handled under your school’s own privacy arrangements, not ours.

The form asks for a parent or guardian email address and their consent, because everyone taking part is under 18.

The student portal

Students who are accepted onto the programme get a login for the student portal. It holds the name and school you registered with, the work you submit, your attendance record, and feedback on your work. It is visible to you, and to the Future Signals programme team.

The evaluation

The programme includes an evaluation before it starts and again at the end, curated by Dr. John A. Sweeney, to see how students’ thinking about the future changes.

How evaluation responses are stored, anonymised and reported is to be confirmed.
